SuttonBeresCuller is a Seattle-based collaborative composed of John Sutton, Ben Beres, and Zac Culler, working together since 2000. Their practice spans sculpture, installation, performance, and public projects, operating both within and beyond traditional exhibition spaces.
Their work engages audiences through unexpected encounters, often presenting familiar forms that are not what they initially seem. Drawing on humor and misdirection, they reinterpret archetypal objects through shifts in material, scale, and context—creating scenarios that explore identity, perception, and instinct.
SuttonBeresCuller has completed numerous public projects and commissions throughout the West Coast and is represented by Greg Kucera Gallery.
